The longest and toughest Baltic regatta
AGORA Direct MidsummerSail is an offshore race across the Baltic Sea—from its southernmost to its northernmost point.
For 2026, the start is on June 21 at 13:00 (midsummer), with a race time limit until July 5 at 13:00. The course is about 900 nautical miles (1670 km): start in the bay of Wismar and finish in Töre next to a yellow buoy.
The Baltic is one of the world’s most beautiful sailing areas: hardly any tides and, in summer, near-constant daylight. Expect everything from drifting calm to strong winds, from all directions. It’s the perfect balance between a holiday passage and a true offshore challenge—and it’s called “the longest & toughest” Baltic race for a reason.
In 2026, a GPS tracker is used on every boat, and you may choose ORC or IRC corrected results (optional). For the latest documents, starting lists and updates, check the official website.
